The enterprising Justin Timberlake can now add shoe designer to his resume. The five-year-old denim-based brand William Rast now boasts a capsule collection of shoes retailing from $248 to $449, WWD reports. Timberlake along with co-designer Trace Ayala will debut the collection tonight at their fall presentation for New York Fashion Week. “We felt that footwear was natural for us,” said Rast chief executive officer Colin Dyne. “Obviously, being in the denim business, we felt the biker boot and the whole ‘Americana biker” theme goes well with boots and shoes and they share that essence and DNA of the brand. We thought our fashion show was the ideal launchpad for us to get it out.” source: wwd If the picture above is a taste of what the shoes are gonna be like, I’m all for them. Even if they are a bit expensive judging by the article’s price. But you can’t deny those shoes Justin is sporting there are so freaking cool and funky, lol! |
