Justin Timberlake’s restaurant has left one former employee hungry for more.
An ex-busboy at Southern Hospitality BBQ & Bar in Manhattan, which is co-owned by the pop star, buddy Trace Ayala and a couple others, has filed a lawsuit claiming that he wasn’t paid a living wage during the year he spent working there.
In a federal lawsuit filed Friday in New York, 26-year-old Felipe Ramales alleges that he and some fellow employees were not given their rightful share of automatic gratuity charges that were applied to tables of six or more. The plaintiff also says that he regularly worked more than 40 hours a week and received no overtime pay.
But while Ramales’ grievances are plentiful, a Southern Hospitality rep says that they’re baseless, as well.
Restaurant manager Chris Russell said that staffers took home every bit of their tips and that employee salaries were well over minimum wage.
Reps for Timberlake or his partners have yet to respond to the suit.
During the Black Ball Event Justin Timberlake performed his single “My Love” and also did a duet with Alicia Keys.

Kanye West is to music what Michael Jordan was to basketball — at least that’s what West thinks, in his humble estimation.
“I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice,” he said in an interview on Wednesday. “It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan.”
The Grammy-winning rapper-producer said Justin Timberlake had a chance to be music’s MVP, but hasn’t put out enough material. (Timberlake’s last album was in 2006, while West released a CD last year and is releasing his latest — “808s and Heartbreak” — on Nov. 24.)
“There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums,” he said. “And it just came out to be that.”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might be publicly downplaying their future plans together, but JT is also buying a New York condo with more than enough room for two.
Timberlake, whose search for a Manhattan pad with Biel has been reported here, has gone to contract on a TriBeCa three-bedroom with a $5.25 million price tag. According to the Prudential Douglas Elliman listing, the 3,000-square-foot loft, located in the Pearline Soap Factory condo building on Washington Street, features a 52-foot-long living/dining area, a gourmet kitchen with top appliances, 14 floor-to-ceiling windows facing all four directions and views including sunsets over the Hudson River. There is also a sound system, lighting system and very useful electronic shades.
Listing broker and Hollywood scion Raphael De Niro did not return phone calls, and Timberlake’s rep had no comment.
JT and JB have reportedly been living together at Timberlake’s mansion in LA since the summer.

T-Pain says he can’t believe what just happened to his hit record “Can’t Believe It.” Justin Timberlake jumped on the remix.
“We actually met, like, six months ago. I was at the studio in Miami working on my album, and he was in the room next door,” Pain told MTV News via text message on Friday. “He came to my room, and I played him some records from the album, and he said ’Can’t Believe It’ was his favorite song I ever did. I was shocked.”
Pain started laughing — he literally typed “Pain laughs” — at how everything unfolded.
“So knowing that [Justin loved the record], I wanted him on the record since that day,” the Florida singer continued. “But it never happened until [last] week. I got a call that said, ‘Hey, Justin hopped on “Can’t Believe It.” ‘ It’s just awesome when someone who don’t ever do remixes with anyone hopped on my song out of every hot record out there. I never expected it to happen. That’s some real sh–. I just called him to tell him thank you!”
The beat for the new “Can’t Believe It” has been changed up some, and original guest star Lil Wayne is replaced by JT, whose lyrics fall in line with Pain’s words about wooing women.
“Hey, Pain, I don’t normally do this, but let me talk to them for a second,” Justin says before singing. “I can see you smiling, standing on your own island/ Girl it ain’t nothing to your man to give you all the things in life you missed/ Priceless.” And, yes, Timberlake does use the famed Auto-Tune effect during some parts.
“I can put you in a townhouse/ I can put you in my house,” Justin sings later. “I’m talking about Timberlake, yeah/ We can have the wedding in Jamaica …/ Your love is built like a drug, and I don’t want to be sober.”
T-Pain had previously released a Konvict Muzik remix of “Can’t Believe It” with labelmates Akon and Kardinal Offishall. At the end of the new remix, Pain declares that “Auto-Tune is almost on the way out.”
Pain’s Thr33 Ringz comes out on Tuesday. Guests on the album include Chris Brown on “Freeze” and Mary J. Blige, Diddy and Akon on “Change.” Akon also appears alongside T.I. on “It Ain’t Me.” Ciara is featured on “Blowing Up.”

It’s part two of ET’s Kevin Frazier’s interview with Justin Timberlake!
In our all-new video, Kevin and Justin talk about the “green” golf course Justin’s building in his hometown of Memphis, and they even play a little golf!
“It’s just something that I really enjoy doing for the community,” Justin tells ET. “You know, it’s where I grew up, and I just felt it was a way to sort of keep something there, in tact, that all of the neighbors really love….”

There are strong rumors that Justin Timberlake will be appearing on TRL’s last episode next sunday November 16 and MTV actually aired a commercial stating that he will be there.
Justin & Nsync have been iconic artists on TRL’s history so it makes sense that he & maybe the other boys show up for the finale.
Other big artists that will appear include: Beyonce, 50 Cent, the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears?,Diddy, Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, and Korn’s Jonathan Davis.
p.s: TRL studios are in New York & Justin Timberlake is still in NYC, hmm….
As you know Justin Timberlake made a surprise appearence last Tuesday on the set of Ellen Degeneres show to meet with country singer Taylor Swift who is a big fan of him, and also to discuss with Ellen their time together for the Celebrity Pro AM at “JT Shriners for Children Open” golf tournament that took place recently in Las Vegas.
Here is a little message she left on her official website as to what to expect of this episode which will air this tuesday November 11:
TAYLOR SWIFT: She is so adorable! We’re throwing her a CD release party! Taylor also tells me very personal details about what happened to her relationship with Nick Jonas. I also have two HUGE surprises for her! And Taylor will perform two songs from her CD, “Fearless!”
Plus, I’ll show you footage from my time in Las Vegas with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! We play a lot of golf together. I give him tons of pointers. (#1: If you’re stuck in a bunker, don’t forget to bring your beach chair.)
And aside from surprising Taylor, my producers also have a GIANT surprise for me! (I would tell you what it is, but even I don’t know!) And we’re just two days away from show #900!

I spent Friday in Manhattan, taking some time to go with some of the Canadian golf industry’s finest at first to Chelsea Pier to test drive Callaway’s new FT-iQ driver, and later to see a pop star endorse some golf gear.
It was an odd affair, with the driver being launched by Justin Timberlake, who recently signed a deal with the equipment maker. He came out on stage, posed for shots while what seemed like a million flash bulbs went off and photographers desperately shouted instructions (”Give us a soft shot, Justin!” or “Hold it like a flower!”). Timberlake then hit a dozen shots in a net while the photogs scrambled to get in position and then left the public area to do some interviews.
It was a bit odd to hold the event in such a public setting and then have Timberlake almost entirely obscured to the public. Strange. I guess it made sense to someone, but I thought they could have gotten more value out of Timberlake.
Finally, about an hour later, Timberlake took a few minutes of questions with the Canadian media. Here’s what he had to say:
Why does this deal with Callaway make sense?
In talking with Callaway I think it makes sense because it doesn’t. If that makes sense. I think that this opportunity for me came obviously through the tournament in Vegas and making such a huge charitable contribution through the PGA [Tour]. Once we sort of got into bed with the PGA on that process, I think the people at Callaway were really receptive to creating some sort of partnership.
What’s the link between entertainers and golf?
From the time that golf has been golf, even in the Rat Pack era, it was equally popular because of people like Bing Crosby, but also Sinatra and Sammy Davis. People like that. Those are people that I aspire [to be like]. And even modern day too — there are a lot of celebrities and athletes that play the game and it makes it more attractive to everyone. I think that’s why this deal makes sense to both of us.
Why golf?
When I first started playing it was about getting away from everything else that I do. You go out there you hit the ball down the fairway and you hit the ball towards the green. That’s all you’re thinking about. And then when I started getting decent at the game and started hitting shots, I became involved in every part of it and wanted to better my game. It becomes an addiction. I’ve definitely sacrificed my social life for it.
What is more difficult — playing on stage for thousands or hitting balls at a pro-am?
Playing a pro-am. Absolutely. I played a show last night — I jumped on stage with Madonna last night for 60,000 people. But if you asked me to hit a ball over here in front of 10 of you guys, and I’m like naaaa (feigns nervousness).
You are a golf course owner now (his family recently acquired the Millington Golf Course near Memphis). How did that come about?
It is a golf course 10 minutes from where I grew up and my Dad taught me to hit a golf ball at this course when I was 10. We found out last year the owners found the upkeep was too much for them and unfortunately they were going to put it on the auction block. I said to my Dad, “What would happen if we just bought it?” So that’s what we did. So now we have this golf course and I said why don’t we refurbish it. Then I started asking questions. The golf course is in a wide open field sort of area so I wondered how easy it would be to solar power the clubhouse. Then someone mentioned you could do a soy-bean fertilizer. And I thought, ‘Could you actually make a golf course green?’ Cause that’s the only sort of downside to golf courses — they use so much water and there’s such upkeep. I don’t want to throw a misquote out there — but I think it’ll be the first American eco-friendly golf course from top to bottom.
The NewYork Times caught up with Justin Timberlake, while in New York to promote Callaway’s new FT-iQ driver.
Check below a little interview Justin did with the newspaper in which he talks about golfing and the presidential elections:
WHEN DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN PLAYING GOLF?
I first got into the game as a 10-year-old growing up in Memphis. My stepfather, Paul Harless, is a pretty good golfer, and he would often take me to a nearby course to hit balls. As my life got busier, I found the golf course to be a great escape, a great way to be away from all the madness of press agents, BlackBerrys and cellphones that never stop ringing.
WHAT IS THE BEST COURSE YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED?
Augusta, no doubt. That’s where they play the Masters. It’s just a kind of magical place. The course, however, is not as intimidating as I thought it might be.
WHO ARE YOUR GOLF BUDDIES?
My biggest golf buddy is probably my stepfather. That’s another great thing about the game: it gives us a chance to spend some quality time. Most of the Hollywood types that I know are not very good golfers.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE GOLFERS?
Tiger Woods, of course, but I love Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson. I would have to say that my favorite golfer of all time is Fred Couples. I just love the tempo of his swing. When he drives through the ball, it’s like he’s not even swinging.
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU BUDGET FOR PLAYING GOLF?
I get in about one or two rounds a week. I take my clubs everywhere. I love going on a nine-hole vacation, and those 18-hole vacations, with just me and my clubs, man, that’s twice as much fun.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CITY?
I love Memphis, of course, but I also love New York. The city has a lot of soul. It’s real, there’s nothing fake about it.
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?
I loved it. It turned out just fine for me. I thought Barack Obama’s speech that night was extremely overpowering; it almost brought me to tears.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS INTERVIEW?
I’m going down to Chelsea Piers, where it will be quiet without all the microphones and cameras, and I’m just going to hit a few more balls.
What does Justin Timberlake have to say about performing alongside music icon Madonna last night?
Our Kevin Frazier caught up with Timberlake today in New York — the complete opposite side of the country from where he took the stage in Los Angeles last night! When Kevin asked Justin if he was jet-lagged, Justin replied, “I’m on about four hours of sleep and about eight gallons of caffeine right now.”
On the concert, Timberlake told Kevin: “It was cool, you know, Dodger Stadium, it’s you know, it’s large. It was fun.”
On Madonna, Justin says she’s in amazing shape: “As we were rehearsing she was running circles around me.”
Reporters also asked him whether there were “any wedding bells” in his future. “Now that’s a dumb question,” he replied.
