“4 Minutes” has been certified 2x platinum (2 million units in sales) by the R.I.A.A. in the U.S.
The song is not only one of the biggest hit singles of this year, but is also one of the most successful singles of Madonna’s entire 25-year career. Her only other single to be certified higher than 1x platinum is the 2x platinum single “Vogue” from 1990.
Once again congratulations to Justin & Madonna, those two can do wonders together.
