Pop-star sweethearts Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel kicked off Timberlake’s weeklong visit to Vegas with a “Last Chance for Change” rally Saturday at the downtown Clark County Amphitheater to support Democrat Barack Obama.
Celebrity photographer Erik Kabik was on hand for the “get out the vote” canvassing effort and was “up close and personal” for this remarkable set of candid photographs.
Bearded Justin kicks off his own celebrity studded golf tournament on Wednesday to raise funds for the Shriners Childrens Hospital. Then on Friday night he hosts a pop concert and party at Planet Hollywood resort casino with an all-star lineup of musical stars, including the Jonas Brothers and Rihanna.
Justin told the crowd: “This is not my usual stage — and I’m a little nervous. This is the first time in my life that I am endorsing a political candidate. I’m not here as a musician or an actor or that guy that writes songs. I’m not here as a Democrat or a Republican. I’m here as an American. I’m not here to tell you what to think but I urge you to think. I’m supporting Barack Obama because I’m inspired by him, by his voice, his intellect, his leadership and his judgement.”
