CAMERON Diaz and ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake kissed and made up at the US premiere of Shrek 3.
It was their first public appearance together since splitting last Christmas.
And it was a heart-warming moment the world has been waiting to see.
Cameron, 34, and Justin, 26, arrived separately at the screening at the Mann Village Theatre, Westwood.
But a couple of hours later at a cast photo-call, the couple – who dated for more than three years – won a round of applause from adoring fans and fellow cast members as they enjoyed an embrace.
And they practically rekindled their romance as they whispered to one another.
One onlooker said: “It was so heart-rending seeing them both back together.
“At first Cameron arrived and stayed closer to co-star Mike Myers than Justin.
“The crowd of fans outside were chanting both her and Justin’s names and were urging them to walk along the green carpet together.
“They initially stayed apart and didn’t make any eye-contact with each other. But later, when they went to a cast photoshoot, they couldn’t stop smiling at each other and seemed very relaxed.
“They shared a huge hug and kiss and whispered to each other, giggling. For a moment or two it was just like they were back together – you could tell they will always have a lot of love for each other.”
And on that note, we hear they then headed off to dine at Westt Hollywood’s Koi restaurant.
But for now, we’re holding onto our hats. Moments later, Cameron, who is the voice behind Fiona (the princess) and Justin (who lends his voice to geeky King Arthur) were joined by fellow cast members including our pal Rupert Everett, 47, Eddie Murphy, 46, and Antonio Banderas, 46.
