2. Justin Timberlake, ‘Rast’ Rebel! (New trailer)

   Justin Timberlake has a new role: rebel action hero! The multi-talented performer is starring in a number of ads for his William Rast clothing line — and “The Insider” has an exclusive look at a spot from the exciting ad campaign!

   “My Name is William Rast” casts Justin as the title character, “a complex modern day hero, who rebels against the conformity of everyday life” accompanied by his girlfriend/”partner in crime” Birdie, played by model Erin Wasson. The pair sport standout pieces of the line’s fall collection in their various adventures filmed in Tennessee, rolling out on three platforms: print, outdoor and a series of film spots.

   In addition to starring in the ad campaign, Justin also co-wrote the short films and provided the score! Of course, William Rast is a fictional character devised by JT and childhood pal Trace Ayala, inspired by their grandfathers and combining their names — William is Justin’s grandfather’s first name, and Rast is Trace’s grandfather’s last name.

4. Esmee Denters talks about working with Justin on her debut album

   For those who don’t know Esmee Denters, she is a talented singer whom Justin Timberlake discovered via youtube, and decided to sign her on his own record label Tennman Records.

   Justin reunited with Esmee this year to help her out with the production of the songs for her first studio album under the record label, and she has just finished recording it.

   Check out below a video she released in which she talks about her experience of working with Justin Timberlake on the record, she had very nice things to say about him. Esmee also says that she is going to reveal pictures from the photoshoot of the album as well as details about some of the songs very soon, so keep checking her youtube site (click) constantly.

7. Justin confirmed for T.I new album

   

   T.I’s new album titled “Paper Trail” will feature A-list guests including Usher, Rihanna & Justin Timberlake.

   “I really appreciate it, man,” Tip said humbly about the support he’s gotten from his peers. “It’s definitely an honor man to be among the elite in the game. To have as much respect from them as they have for me is also a privilege. I just wanna live up to all the expectations.”

   Justin will be joining him in “Dead and Gone.” “Basically, man, [the song] it’s about the lessons I’ve learned in life, the old me being dead and gone. How I’ve changed, how my life has taken new meaning.”T.I said.

   “Paper Trail” will hit stores on September 30.

8. Info on 4 minutes performance from the “Sticky & Sweet” Tour in Cardiff

   So tonight Madonna started her “Sticky & Sweet” tour in Cardiff Wales and Walesonline.co.uk is doing a live coverage of the whole concert with details from every song and pictures of Madonna as well.

   “4 minutes” just played and here is what they said about the performance:

   Andrew Dagnell - It’s replicating the video on stage. Justin is being projected onto boxes on the stage. Madonna is dancing alongside the boxes and wearing a very futuristic outfit, gyrating against the boxes as though she is actually dancing with Justin. It’s all live - Cardiff is party central at the moment.

9. New U.S. single certifications for “4 Minutes”

   

   “4 Minutes” has been certified 2x platinum (2 million units in sales)  by the R.I.A.A. in the U.S.

   The song is not only one of the biggest hit singles of this year, but is also one of the most successful singles of Madonna’s entire 25-year career. Her only other single to be certified higher than 1x platinum is the 2x platinum single “Vogue” from 1990.

   Once again congratulations to Justin & Madonna, those two can do wonders together.

10. Justin & Britney still recording duet together ? (Update: False rumor)

    The long-awaited duet between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake may finally be recorded. “Sources” tell the NY Post that Spears will team up with her ex-love for a song on her next album due at the end of the year. The two were supposed to team up for her last album, but Spears due to the messed up situation she was in, missed her recording session with Timbaland at the legendary producer’s Virginia Beach studio last August. “She just didn’t show up,” NY post claims.

    ps: Let’s file this under the rumor section until there is a more reliable & “known” source confirming the duet cause I remember last year it was the same buzz of them recording together and it just didn’t happen.

    UPDATE:

    Unfortunately for fans of the former pop couple, it’s not to be, as Access Hollywood has learned that the pair will not be recording a duet for Brit’s upcoming album, contrary to reports.

    Justin “is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney,” a rep for the “SexyBack” singer told Access. The pop stars haven’t sung together publicly since they shared a stage with Aerosmith, Nelly and Mary J. Blige at the 2001 Superbowl, during Justin’s N*Sync days.

    Britney’s spending her summer in the studio recording a follow-up to last year’s “Blackout.” She’s also been working on her bod, showing off a fit figure in the new issue of OK!

    “I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life,” Britney told the mag. “My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape… I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

    So I got tired of the last layout pretty quickly, and decided to make a new theme, I think it’s easier this way cause you enter and just read the news, you dont have to be clicking each post to read them, and it was sort of complicated 4 me too when I made the posts.
