Rumors started again  that wedding bells will be ringing soon for the couple, because they were spotted  buying a vintage 1970’s ring from a small shop near the Via Condotti shopping district in Rome last week. The stores owner confirmed the purchase and said, “I could tell they had very refined taste because they asked about the history of all the jewellery. They seemed shy but in love.”

These rumors got even bigger yesterday with wedding  “plans” for October and everything, after they were also spotted taking a trip to Cappella Rupestre S.Michele Arcangelo in Gete where they were seen to be taking a particular interest in a church.

p.s: Well, these reports may be false (again) most likely.  They may be preparing for a wedding, but just not their own wedding, since it was reported last week that they have been invited to the wedding of Jessica’s 7 heaven co-star, friend, Beverly Mitchel.

The nuptials between Beverly Mitchel and her fiance Michael Cameron will take place in Italy on October, and Jessica is expected to be the bridesmaid along with the Duff sisters. So there you have it.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel continued their romantic Roman holiday Friday with some vintage jewelry shopping.

Their purchases: A diamond bracelet and ring, both from the 1970s, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple spent about an hour at the unmarked shop, located on a cobblestone street near the Via Condotti, Rome’s poshest shopping area.

The tiny shop – about the size of two phone booths – and specializes in 1950s to 1970s era jewelry. (It has very little jewelry on display, but there’s a huge built-in safe.)

Timberlake and Biel – who came to the shop on a recommendation – asked the shop assistant to empty the safe, and Biel proceeded to try on nearly every piece.

One particularly interesting piece? A 17th century necklace. When Biel found out how old it was, Timberlake started serenading her with a song from the soundtrack to Easy Virtue, her upcoming period film.

“I could tell they had very refined taste because they asked about the history of all the jewelry,” shop owner Nicola Boncompagni tells PEOPLE. She added that the couple seemed “shy but in love.”

Biel chose not to wear any of the purchases immediately – preferring to have the jewelry delivered to their hotel.

Soon she’ll be seen with Justin Timberlake and Jeff Bridges in The Open Road, about a son and his estranged father finally getting together.

“It was really fun to do,” said Kate.

She revealed that she was the envy of Justin’s legion of fans when she witnessed a very special performance by the singer-turned-film-star.

She said: “Justin plays the son of Jeff Bridges and I discovered that Jeff also sings – although I did not know that he had released an album.

“Harry Dean Stanton is also in the film and he sings too and plays the guitar.

“One night when we were all in a bar during the week of rehearsals, Harry took out his guitar and then Jeff joined in and then they passed the guitar to Justin.

“So right there we had this incredible concert with the film’s cast. It was something I will never forget.”

Yesterday Justin Timberlake & his girl Jessica Biel continued to enjoy their Romanian vacation.

Photographers The paps snatched pictures of the couple at the balcony of their hotel, and eating at a restaurant overlooking a lake.

Update: Actually this second set of pictures where we see them walking through the street and taking pics with fans is from September 25.

 p.s: You know I was just thinking, their vacation wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Venice. I can already picture them all cozy in a gondola sailing through the Venetian waters. Now that’s romantic, dontcha think ?
