   The #1 one spot of the most fascinating people of 2007 was given to UK writer J.K Rowling from the Harry Potter series, the other 9 were presented in no particular order. 6. Justin Timberlake Abu Dhabi press conference details

   

   Journalists were not allowed to ask questions directly and the photographers were prevented from entering the much anticipated, uber-hyped Justin Timberlake (JT) presscon at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace Hotel yesterday.

   Days before the event journalists were asked to e-mail questions to the PR company who would then randomly pick some to be answered by JT at the press conference.

   JT arrived almost an hour late. Which would not have peeved as much if it wasn’t for the organisers not allowing the photographers to take pictures. They were given just five minutes outside the presscon room at a designated spot. Suffice it to say Justin posed for less than a minute before disappearing into the presscon room.

   Photographers were not allowed to follow him.

   Visibly tired but still sharp, JT was now charming, now businesslike. The past 5 o’clock shadow in place, a gray vest, a black tee and his trademark trilby, he looked every bit… Justin Timberlake.

   Back to the questions. Once inside he said a quick hello before settling in. Without further ado the great raffle draw of questions began.

   A dozen or so questions were picked out of a bowl. Many revolved around how it felt to be in Abu Dhabi or what he thought of the region now that he was here.

7. Justin Timberlake scores 5 Grammy nominations

   

   Justin Timberlake has a huge reason to celebrate these holidays, do you know why?, well Mr JT has been nominated for the 50th edition of the Grammy Awards.

   Justin scored nominations in 5 categories which are:

   • Record of the Year — What Goes Around Comes

   • Best Male Pop Vocal Performance — What Goes Around…Comes Around

   • Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals — Give it to Me — Timbaland ft Justin & Nelly Furtado

   • Best Dance Recording — LoveStoned/I Think She Knows

   • Best Rap Song —Ayo Technology — 50 Cent ft Justin

   The Grammys are determined by 12,000 music industry professionals who belong to the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.

   The ceremony will be held live February 10 in Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

   Well, big kudos to Justin for these nominations, and we wish he wins big at the Grammys.

   With the release of the Deluxe Edition of Future Sex Love Sounds, Justin Timberlake is back in the 26th position of the Billboard 200 charts moving more than 46,000 copies last week.

   Congratulation Justin, good job guys and let´s hope JT gets to sell steadily over the entire holiday season.

    You know it feels kinda strange that the FutureSex/LoveShow is finally coming to a close tomorrow night, after all this months in which Justin Timberlake delighted people worldwide with this great tour. But hey all the good things must come to an end and at least Justin will get a much deserved time to rest and spend the holidays with his beloved ones so in the near future he will be ready to embark into new and interesting proyects.

    I really hope that fans over at Abu Dhabi get to enjoy and pass a good time at this concert. It´s the last one guys !!!!

11. Justin Timberlake arrives in Abu Dhabi

    

    Iconic pop star Justin Timberlake has touched down in the UAE capital as he prepares to woo crowds at his Justin Timberlake: Live in Abu Dhabi concert.

    The final stop on his hugely successful FutureSex/Love Show World Tour takes place tomorrow (December 6th) at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Place Hotel, West Park

    Hype surrounding the concert reached fever-pitch with 13,500 fans having bought tickets to see the multi-award winning pop artist perform.

    Timberlake has already played to sold out arenas in over 60 countries and, in what is a new record for the UAE capital, where tickets were sold out in just two hours.

    Justin Timberlake, said:

    “I am overwhelmed with how people have reacted to my arrival here in Abu Dhabi. I can’t wait to sample the local cuisine and perform in front of a great crowd.”

    The concert, which is being presented by Mubadala Development Company and Aldar Properties PJSC, will open its doors at 4pm with a start time of 9pm. Abu Dhabi-based rock group, Juliana Down, who were recently voted the ‘UAE’s Favorite Band’, will kick-start the entertainment at 8pm.

    Concert organisers have invested considerable resources into making the entire event run as smoothly and enjoyably as possible.
