‘N Sync star Lance Bass has revealed that he once thought ex-bandmate Justin Timberlake was gay.
The singer said his suspicions were raised when Timberlake admitted that he dreamed of playing a homosexual role in a film.
He said: “We thought Justin was gay because he told us he wanted to do a gay part in a movie.”
But he added that he also suspected fellow ‘N Sync singer Chris Kirkpatrick, because “he used to hang out with a choreographer”.
Bass announced that he was gay in 2006, saying he had kept his sexual orientation a secret for so long amid fears that it would affect the band’s popularity.
He recently suggested that Timberlake should reunite with ‘N Sync to record another album.
Bass was quoted saying : I’m proud of him. There’s no anger, but there is disappointment. We were starting to get respect - and Grammy nominations. And e kind of took that respect to get past the boyband stigma. Hopefully, hell throw us a bone and do another NSYNC album or a song, because the rest of us loved it. It was our life - touring, making albums.
